If you are accepted to WVU as an undergraduate student, we’ll send instructions for paying your academic deposit to your WVU email address. The academic deposit is $150 for West Virginia residents and $250 for all other students.

The academic deposit is required to continue with additional enrollment steps, including housing selection and registration for New Student Orientation.

The academic deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your attendance by December 1 for spring term enrollment or May 1 for fall term enrollment. The housing deposit is partially refundable.
