Delays and Closures

The University rarely closes. However, there are times when classes may be delayed or canceled while the University remains open.

Students and employees will be informed of delays or closures through many outlets, including the WVU Safety Notification System, WVUToday, MIX email, ENews, and traditional and social media. Official University safety social media channels are:
