Does WVU accept AP, IB, CLEP, or dual enrollment credit?
We accept dual enrollment courses from accredited 2- or 4-year institutions. Credit may be applied directly to meet course requirements, or as elective credit. Grades for college credit are transferred, as well. An official college transcript is required to review and apply credit, and it must be sent directly by the credit-granting institution. Visit our transfer equivalency pages to see how your dual enrollment credits may transfer.
AP, IB, and CLEP credits are also accepted. Credit is applied at the discretion of the academic adviser. See the AP, IB, and CLEP page for equivalency charts and instructions for submitting your scores to WVU.
You can also take WVU classes as a high school student through our ACCESS program. Both on-campus and online classes are available.
