We award scholarships based on criteria like academic merit, financial need, and leadership and service. In-state and out-of-state students, including test-optional applicants, can qualify.

West Virginia residents may also be eligible for the West Virginia Promise scholarship sponsored by the state of West Virginia. WVU scholarships usually are offered in addition to Promise.

No SAT or ACT scores? No problem. Apply now without test scores. If you're admitted, you'll be considered for scholarships based on your GPA. And you can proceed with the admissions process, like making your housing arrangements.
