Multidisciplinary Studies, BMDS (College of Applied Human Sciences)
Employers and graduate school programs value versatile and creative individuals who can solve problems from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies (BMDS) degree offers the flexibility to create a program of study that meets your unique career aspirations without sacrificing precious extra time and expense. You’ll develop a breadth of knowledge and skills by completing core courses in career and professional development, as well as 3 academic minors.
What’s a minor, you ask? It’s a series of courses, totaling a minimum of 15 credits, that are concentrated around a specific subject of study. To complete the CAHS BMDS degree, students select at least 2 from our wide array of Applied Human Sciences minors and a third, either in CAHS or in another WVU college or school.
