Health Services Administration, BS

Health service administrators and managers are typically responsible for planning and management of health services delivery systems in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, insurance companies, and other health-related organizations.

In this program, you will gain knowledge and experience in health systems planning, public health organization and management, public health policy formulation and analysis, finance, project management, quality assurance, public health law, and regulations.

Every health services administration student must complete at least 125 hours of internship experience at a health agency to apply their classroom learning. All students engage with agency partners, gain experience in the workplace, and demonstrate acquisition of competencies.

Project Management Specialists

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.
